Our Story

Rick Morgan is the director of Global Pathways Recruitment, a specialist international recruitment business. An expert in the finance sector, he is also a pioneer in promoting employment equality. The native Londoner is proud of his hometown for being a melting pot of diversity.

I set up my business in 2015, taking what I thought then, was the ‘path of least resistance’. Little did I know the road that lay ahead!

I have recruited for most of my adult life, and having worked for some great companies, I decided it was time to go it alone. I wanted an environment where I could enjoy going to work every day. I wanted to have no dress code, a relaxed and comfortable office, flexible working patterns and a lovely bunch of colleagues.

Thankfully, I got what I set out for! 

As a business focused on helping people move cross border through their career, we collectively have an excellent global network. We act as the conduit for individuals or families to move to a new and better life, or for businesses to find a needle in a haystack that they can’t find locally. This gives me great personal and professional satisfaction.

Based out of London, my beautiful home town, running a small but global business has its challenges to say the least! But I now have an excellent grasp of time zones and can always tell you what time it is, anywhere in the world!

Being focused on our client’s needs, both employer and candidate, our service does not stop when you sign on the dotted line. Myself and many of my team have lived and worked in locations other than their home, so understand the excitement and anxiety, the perks and the pitfalls, of making such a big and important move. As such, we can help you through the whole relocation process and settling into your new location once you step off the plane and start your new life.

People relocate for a number of reasons! Career enhancement, for a better climate, to learn a language, to be nearer to family or friends, or just out of curiosity and a desire to grow as a person and a professional.

We get to know our candidates, their goals, drivers, their families - so we can best match what you are looking for to the location and role we set you up with.

My team and I have helped people move to be safer, to be reunited with loved ones or to face less workplace discrimination. These are far bigger motivators for us than making a quick buck. We want you to be safe and happy, whoever you are!

Diversity and inclusion are big focus points of ours. Coming from a minority group myself, I feel it is important to champion people who have the right skills and attributes for any position, regardless of their gender, the colour of their skin or their sexual orientation.

The world is largely looking to address imbalances between all these things, so I pride myself on being a ‘safe space’ where people can get the help they need to get where they want to go. The global talent market is proactively seeking out minority candidates in a bid to redress archaic biases.  The way you look, speak or dress is not an indication of how you perform in the workplace and we have many talented and career-minded people amongst our own communities.

As a company, we have significantly reduced our dependence on paper by going paper-light and incorporating digital technology wherever practicable. The benefits of a paper-light office include cost savings, increased efficiency, improved information security, reduced environmental impact, and enhanced collaboration among employees.

By embracing digital solutions, such as cloud storage, electronic document management systems, and digital communication tools, we’ve streamlined our operations, reduced clutter, and contributed to a greener and more productive working environment.

Having achieved what I set out to do, with a relaxed and happy team/business, my focus now is to grow the business organically to enable more people to get where they want in the world, and bring more people on board in my company, to enjoy the environment we have created.

It is my personal mission to do all I can to help my brothers and sisters from all over the world to be what / where they want to be.
